The CVC took over the Bubble in Toms River last Sunday for the CVC Relays! Check out the winners and other top performers in each event below.
Boys Results
Boys SHR. Notre Dame (Aldric Crawford, Zamir Jones, Matt Ryba, and Kendrick Mullen) continued its hurdling dominance and ran away with the win in 32.48. Ewing took second place in 34.08, their fastest time since 2023.
Boys DMR. WWP North (Paul Wittenberg, Martin Kirchberg, Krrish Sheth, and Agrim Jha) led wire-to-wire and took the win the boys DMR with a time of 11:05.33. Behind the Knights was a great duel for 2nd place, with Steinert edging Hopewell Valley by a mere 0.03, 11:21.77 to 11:21.80. WWP North’s B team was right with Steinert and Hopewell Valley almost the whole way and took 4th in 11:25.61, again showcasing the depth of the Knights’ distance squad.
Boys 4x200m. Notre Dame scored its second win in three events as Jayden Davis, Amir Mulkey, Aldric Crawford, and Zamir Jones sprinted away from the competition and won the 4x200m by over 4 seconds in 1:34.85. Trenton followed in 1:38.93 for 2nd place, and Hamilton West claimed 3rd place with 1:40.06 to narrowly win the prior heat over Notre Dame’s strong B team.
Boys 4x800m. WWP North completed the distance double at the CVC Relays by winning the boys 4x800. They narrowly held off the resurgent distance squad out of Ewing, who matched the Knights step-for-step and pushed them all the way to the line. The WWP North quartet of John Durie, Ashvin Avineni, Rohan Varma, and Paul Wittenberg finished in 8:49.38, just 0.24 seconds ahead of Ewing’s Shazad Singh, Ibrahim Songu, Jayden Studivant, and Landyn Loesch.
Boys SMR. WWP South (Julius Kinsler, Aydun Hines, Eihiko Okamoto, and Sean Maina) loaded their sprint medley team and came away with a solid win against a very strong Notre Dame team, 3:48.33 to 3:50.65. Ewing outleaned Princeton for 3rd place, 3:52.48 to 3:52.52.
Boys 4x400m. Nottingham (Victor Millan, Dharry Victor, Praise Obisesan, and Michael Juliano) took the win in the final event of the day after a great duel against Ewing. The Northstars’ quartet crossed the line in 3:42.94, less than a second ahead of the Blue Devils.
Boys High Jump. Just as they did at the Poreda Invitational last month, Notre Dame’s Kendrick Mullen and Allentown’s Dylan Voehl both cleared the impressive height of 6-2, with Mullen getting the win based on the tiebreaker of fewer misses.
Boys Pole Vault. Hopewell Valley’s Will Flannery cleared a new indoor PR of 10-0 to win the CVC Relays. It required that new PR to earn the win, because Allentown’s Dylan Voehl cleared 9-6 in his first pole vault attempts at a major meet since his freshman year in 2023.
Boys Long Jump. Notre Dame’s Aldric Crawford claimed 1st place and led three boys over 20’ in the long jump. His best jump of 20-7 got him the win by 3 inches over Hamilton West’s Jamel Cheeseborough-Williams in 20-3.5, and Princeton’s Oliver Spagnoli claimed 3rd with a leap of 20-0.5.
Boys Triple Jump. Hamilton West senior Brian Boswell broke his old PR by five inches to win the CVC Relays with a big jump of 40-6.5. Within a foot of him were two Ewing juniors, Oluwadarasimi Ogunyinka (2nd in 39-9.75) and Kelin Green (3rd in 39-8.25).
Boys Shot Put. Hightstown’s Christian Houvig launched a huge throw of 47-5.75 — an 18-inch PR — to win the shot put at the CVC Relays. Even with that big PR, the biggest improvement of the day probably goes to Hopewell Valley’s Sam Dede, who crushed his old PR by almost 9 feet to earn 2nd place in 45-10.5. WWP South’s Aidan Edwards also broke 45’ and tied his indoor PR with a 45-1.5 for 3rd place.
Girls Results
Girls SHR. The track portion of the girls’ meet opened up with a very fast hurdles relay, as the Ewing girls (Lynsah Rejouis, Athena Green, Karis Crossland, and Angel Johnson) chased down Notre Dame over the last two legs to win in a quick time of 33.80. According to MileSplit, that’s a school record and currently sits at NJ #2 this winter. The Irish finished 2nd in 34.98, which is still one of the fastest times by a Mercer County school in the last ten years.

Girls DMR. Princeton (Grace Hegedus, Grace Zeng, Eowyn Deess, and Kajol Karra) won the girls distance medley relay in 12:57.48, which is #8 in New Jersey right now. That performance was just enough to hold off WWP North and their anchor Allison Lee, whose 5:03 1600m leg propelled the Knights to 2nd place in 13:00.16.
Girls 4x200m. Lawrence (Faith Jasper, Soraya Parks, Sasha Glover, Samya Jenkins) led the 4x200m wire-to-wire and won in 1:52.42. Hightstown was right on their tail the whole way and finished 2nd in 1:53.55.
Girls 4x800m. All four girls from Princeton’s winning DMR team (Grace Hegedus, Kajol Karra, Eowyn Deess, Grace Zeng) doubled back to also earned the win in the 4x800m with a time of 10:21.51. Hopewell Valley came through in 2nd place with a time of 10:42.68.
Girls SMR. WWP North (Nina Dixit, Aanya Rajesh, Anamika Sertil, Allison Lee) outdueled Hightstown to take the win in the SMR with a time of 4:27.09. The Rams’ strong showing got them 2nd place in 4:35.92 — which, according to MileSplit, is just 0.1 off their indoor school record.
Girls 4x400m. Ewing (Faith Settles, Angel Johnson, Lynsah Rejouis, and Leah Daniels) stacked their 4x400m team and sprinted away with a big win in 4:18.68. Notre Dame, who hung right with Ewing for the first three legs, held on to take 2nd place in 4:24.86.
Girls High Jump. Hopewell Valley’s Uchenna Obidike and WWP North’s Anamika Sertil tied for 1st place in the high jump after they both maxed out at a season’s best of 5-0. Joining them above 5’ for the first time ever was Ewing’s Angel Johnson, who raised her PR by 6 inches to take 3rd place in 5-0.
Girls Pole Vault. Hopewell Vallely’s Avery Rick and Robbinsville’s Meghann Hansen shared 1st place in the pole vault after both clearing 7-9.
Girls Long Jump. WWP South’s Yona Choksi earned her first win of the season with a jump of 16-0.25. WWP North’s Aanya Rajesh took 2nd place with an indoor PR of 15-0, just ahead of Notre Dame’s D’Njah Tatum in 14-10. The top three in this event were all just sophomores.
Girls Triple Jump. Hamilton West’s Alexis Johnson stretched her triple jump PR by another 7 inches to claim 1st place in 34-1. WWP North’s Jada Sands jumped a season’s best of 31-0.25 for 2nd place.
Girls Shot Put. Hopewell Valley’s Uchenna Obidike added a shot put victory to her high jump win after throwing an indoor PR of 34-10. That was enough to top a strong performance by Ewing’s Jayla Little, who likewise set an indoor PR and just about matched her PR from last spring with a throw of 32-11.5. WWP North’s Eva Gedrich set an all-conditions PR of 30-10.5 for 3rd place, and Hightstown’s Jaiden Bosley also cleared 30’ with a season’s best throw of 30-5.5.
